My name is Travis Smith and I am returning for my second year at Lombard Glen Golf & Country Club. I am very happy about having another year as your Golf  Professional!
You'll find that my lesson rates are reasonable and will provide results. This will definitley increase your satisfaction and enjoyment of the game.

Rates:
1/2 Hour - $40.00
1 Hour - $60.00
3 x 1/2 Hour - $100.00 ( save $20.00)
3 x 1 Hour - $150.00 ( save $30.00)
Playing Lesson - $125.00
Group Lessons available at a reasonable rates
Lessons can easily be purchased On-Line

Some Background:
I was born and raised here in Smiths Falls, and as a kid I played almost every sport……except golf. That all changed when I was about eleven years old. I entered a junior camp with a couple friends and absolutely loved the sport. From then on I played every day, and within two years I was competing in local OVGA and CJGA tournaments.

I also had secured a job at the local golf course and continued to work there all through high school. It was around this time when I strongly started to consider pursuing a career in the golf industry. After graduating high school at SFDCI, I decided I was in fact going to pursue my dream of becoming a Golf Professional. I was accepted to five different schools and eventually chose Holland College, which is located in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. While I was there, I had the chance to play on the varsity golf team for one season and I also travelled to Florida where I volunteered at PGA event.

I spent almost four years there and graduated with honors from the Professional Golf Management Program. I turned pro last summer and spent the golf season working at Emerald Links Golf & Country Club in Manotick, ON. This will be my eleventh season working in the golf industry and I am very excited to be doing it in my home town at such a wonderful golf club.
